Nothing special about this look. I typically wear this to work or while I'm running errands. Very Neutral colors.

Make up look using Jazz Night Pallet

Since I did a review I figured I would do a look using the Jazz Night pallet from NYX. Numbering the colors from left to right, I used colors 3,4, and 7. 3 being the main lid color and swept below my lower lashline, 4 as my highlight and 7 as my crease/transition color. Black eyeliner and Mascara finish the look. Eyes were prepped using Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

Review of Jazz Night from Nyx

This is going to be a rather random collection of reviews. I will do it in a series, I'm finding that its taking too long to put the photos in. These are a majority of the eyeshadow pallettes that I own. I am trying to expand my makeup collection, but its hard when you have bills to pay. :P So I try to add to it when my meager paychecks allow.

Review # 1:

This is one of my more recent purchases. It is the NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Pallet from The Runway Collection in 01 Jazz Night. I purchased this from Ulta and I believe it retails for around $10 USD. I opened this pallette and immediately fell in love. The colors are so rich and vibrant. The color payoff and texture are amazing. I love the fact that you can buy an eyeshadow pallette with this much pigmentation for only $10. The black was almost impossible to get off of my arm using a Makeup Remover towelette.

These swatches are on top of Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a base.

My name is Alyssa! I just wanted to take a quick second to introduce myself. I've become addicted to the world of beauty blogging and to the world of youtube.com makeup gurus. I want to take a leap and try to get into it myself.

I'm 23 years old and have a passion for creating. I'm an artist. I am not trained, I have an innate talent for drawing and I want to use that talent in makeup. I'm not a trained makeup artist nor do I do it freelance.
